Born on Webster Street, Built for the Neighborhood

Gate 6 Garden started with a simple conviction: that a neighborhood bakery should be more than a place to grab a loaf — it should feel like a gathering point, a source of pride, and a quiet corner of comfort in the middle of a busy street.

Every morning, our ovens fire up before the rest of Alameda stirs. We bake in small batches, using time-honored techniques and the finest ingredients we can source. The result is bread with crust that sings and crumb that holds together like a promise.

Our grocery shelves carry the same intention — items we'd keep in our own pantries, selected for quality, character, and the stories behind them. From olive oils pressed in family groves to spice blends shipped in from distant markets, every product on our shelves has earned its place.
